Reflexology
Reflexology is a wonderful treatment for anyone who wants to de-stress or generally just "feel better". It is more than simply a foot massage- it is based on the theory that different zones run throughout the whole body- ending at the feet. When these zones are worked upon, the corresponding body structures and organs relating to that zone can also benefit from the treatment. Thus reflexology is truly holistic- it works on the whole body, the mind and the emotions.
Taster treatment (half an hour) £10- for everyone new to reflexology or new to Hallowes Holistics with Laura Kate.
Initial Consultation and First Investigatory Treatment (1 hour and a half): £30 (The investigatory treatment identifies your own personal imbalanced areas and what you would like reflexology to do for you- whether you're simply seeking relaxation or to alleviate a problem. Laura will then come up with a personalised treatment plan for you based on both your own needs and on what was discovered during your treatment).
Subsequent reflexology Treatments (1 hour each): £30. You will get a reflexology treatment focused on the reflexes you need most to help your body into good health and balance. (This means that if you're suffering stress, your relaxation reflexes will be concentrated on, if you have back problems, your spine reflex will be concentrated on, if you've got a cold, your sinus reflexes can be worked on). Additional reflexes will also be worked on to bring balance and harmony to the whole body- but the main bulk of the treatment will be concentrated on what you most need at the time.
Many clients find that keeping up with regular reflexology treatments makes them feel more healthy and happy, as reflexology improves circulation (which can help the to body eliminate toxins and boost immunity) and enhances relaxation and overall well-being. Emotional Freedom Techniques
This technique is incredibly simple and wonderfully effective at
freeing you of troubling emotions. It involves tapping on certain
acupressure points whilst saying in your mind a reminder of what the
problem emotion or situation is. Through this action of tapping whilst
repeating key phrases to 'tune in' the mind to the problem, the
negative emotions attached to the problem are released- which means that
the problem is then neutralised- when there are no negative feelings
attached to something, it is no longer a problem or issue! In this
simple way, you can literally find emotional freedom.

The word reiki means "Universal Life Energy"- an energy which is believed to be all around us. Reiki is the method by which this energy can be channeled and passed on- through the hands- to others to promote well-being. It was first discovered by Dr Mikao Usui, who became inspired to teach and to pass it on after many years of meditation, study and research.
Reiki is a lovely treatment for anyone who feels interested, open-minded and drawn to this type of healing. It can help with both acute and chronic conditions, physical, mental and emotional issues. Receiving a treatment is a gentle process, during which you will recline in a comfortable chair with relaxing music playing and scented oils burning. I can concentrate on problem areas or do a general, whole body treatment to aid peace and relaxation.

Indian Head Massage
A wonderfully relaxing technique, this form of massage is a massage of
the upper body- shoulders, neck, head and finishing off with the face
too if you desire. It is great for anyone who works at a desk for long
periods, anyone who suffers backache, neckache and tension and anyone
who gets headaches frequently or is suffering stress.
